I’ve given birth in a hospital attended by midwives and I’ve given birth at home with Jo. I say “with” instead of “attended” because therein lies the difference. Jo is WITH you all the way through your prenatal visits until a few weeks postpartum. It’s an incredible experience.
If only I could write an entire essay to describe my story. It was a huge goal of mine to have a natural delivery and not go to the hospital at all, and she made that happen for me. I'm very grateful to Jo for helping make it all possible.
